AAA Safety and Field Services is currently seeking a Shop Supervisor. A Shop Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our shop. This position is responsible for managing the shop floor, supervising employees, ensuring quality control, and maintaining a safe and efficient working environment. The Shop Supervisor’s strong leadership skills, technical knowledge, and problem-solving abilities will contribute to the shop’s success and the satisfaction of our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Supervision and Management:
- Supervise and manage shop workers, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
- Allocate work assignments and ensure tasks are performed according to established procedures and quality standards.
- Monitor work progress, ensuring deadlines are met and addressing any issues or delays promptly.
- Quality Control and Inspections:
- Conduct regular inspections of work in progress and completed repairs to ensure quality, accuracy, and adherence to specifications.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues, providing technical expertise and guidance to staff.
- Coordination and Scheduling:
- Coordinate and schedule maintenance and repair projects, ensuring resources, equipment, and materials are available and used efficiently.
- Maintain and update service records, including work spreadsheets, repair logs, and customer information, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, promoting a safe and clean working environment for both employees and customers.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices to continuously enhance shop operations.
- Equipment Management:
- Ensure equipment tracking and cleanliness before equipment goes out and when it is returned to the shop.

Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in automotive or mechanical fields is preferred.
- Proven experience as a technician or mechanic with a strong understanding of mechanical systems and repair procedures.
- Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role, preferably in a shop or service center environment.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Knowledge of relevant safety regulations, compliance standards, and environmental guidelines.
- Strong knowledge of shop equipment and tools, including diagnostic equipment and hand tools.
- Valid oilfield tickets as per clients.
