Transportation Endorsement (TE)

The Transportation Endorsement (TE) course is a specialized training program designed to equip participants with the skills needed to safely move injured or ill individuals to a medical facility. It builds on foundational first aid knowledge and emphasizes practical skill competency.

What the Course Covers

  • Techniques for safely moving injured or ill individuals to a medical facility
  • First aid techniques required during transportation

 

Who Can Take the Course

  • Occupational First Aid (OFA) course students
  • Employees who have completed at least one level of first-aid training
  • Individuals aged 16 years or older

 

Prerequisites

To qualify for the course, participants must:

  • Hold a valid Basic First Aid or Intermediate First Aid certificate
  • Provide a copy of their current first aid certificate before completing the final certification

 

Additional Information

  • The course duration is 7 hours, including coffee and lunch breaks.
  • Participants must demonstrate practical skill competency to pass.
  • On successful completion, participants receive a 3-year certification.
    • Certification is valid only if a current Basic or Intermediate First Aid certificate is maintained.
